  • I joined Terry Partin, son John, and grandson John Luke in the bluegrass state for some late season elk hunting!  Kentucky introduced elk in the eastern part of the state 15 years ago.  They now have a herd of 10,000 animals.  Ole “Five Shot Luke” took a nice cow elk on the second day of the hunt!  Be  watching for the entire hunt on Life’s Highway TV in the 2012 season!

    I took this picture while using a cow call on a 2007 elk hunt in Colorado.  15 minutes later, I took a nice 4×5 bull elk with my bow.  Ric Browning and I will make our 9th trip to the Rocky Mountains to pursue these magnificent animals!  We have taken 4 bulls a piece on these trips.  We will be filming this hunt again this year for the 2012 season of Life’s Highway TV!

Life’s Highway TV show is aired weekly on Saturdays at 3pm on this network.  We here at Life’s Highway are excited to hear this news! Life’s Highway is now on 155 TV stations. Wade and Ric Browning leave for Colorado in 7 weeks to film another Elk hunt on horse back with bow in hand!  Then, it will be bowhunts in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia!  We love it!

    We have been busy filming Theresa in the Kitchen working on some of her favorite recipes for her upcoming cooking DVD that will be out later this year. She will also be featured on two of the new episodes of the “LIFE’S HIGHWAY” TV show.  Theresa is known for her knowledge and expertise in the kitchen.  Theresa’s grandparents came to America in the early 1900’s from Italy.  She has spent many days with her grandmother learning how to cook.  She also gets great recipes and ideas from people while on the road.  Her DVD will feature main dishes, side dishes, and several great desserts.  Theresa is pictured here with authentic Italian Spagetti and Meatballs.  Let’s have some fun with this……Email us your idea of what you think Theresa should name her DVD!  If we use your idea, we will send you a “LIFE’S HIGHWAY”  T-shirt!  Also, go to Facebook and become a fan of Wade Spencer!  By the way, What is your favorite main course you would like to see on Theresa’s DVD?

    I filmed the first half of this music video in my neighbors woods behind my house.  Then, Theresa and I packed our gear and some clothes and six thousand miles and four days later, found ourselves in Independence Square in down town Kiev, Ukraine.  This is where we filmed Ukrainian recording artist, Roma Vashchuk singing the remainder of the song “I Thought of God”.  It was a lot of fun spending time with our friends from Ukraine.  Have you ever been to the beautiful country of Ukraine?
